Lei: The 13th Tale
The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield was a great (and fast) read. The mystery and characters are unique and Setterfield creates some nice metaphors and visions. I can't front: it was susprisingly nice to find myself in the shoes of a character who feels similarly to the way I do about books (enamour). Setterfield focuses a little too much on the narrator's story which I thought didn't quite tie up as nicely as the other stories told, nor was it completely necessary.
